St. Alban's Model Railroad

The St. Alban's Railroad includes rail fans and model railroaders from all walks of life.  While our individual interests and skills vary, the railroads that helped build our nation bond us together.

St. Alban's Railroad is located in the basement under the Thrift Shop of the St. Alban's Church on 3625 Chapel Road in Newtown Square, PA.  We meet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings 7:30 - 10:00 PM.

The  HO scale model railroad consists of a permanent layout measuring 30' x 60' and is built to NMRA standards.  The layout is controlled by Digitrax DCC with operations and signals controlled by JMRI.

StARR is open to new members that will enjoy contributing their time and energy to improving and operating the layout.  There is always plenty to do, from building structures, applying scenery, electrical work, adding and repairing trackwork and general maintenance ....  StARR is an evolving layout with new projects being added as time and material permits.  To help with our expenses, our yearly dues are $300.00 payable in monthly payments of $25.00.  If this appeals to you or if you have any questions please contact us or stop in during one of our club sessions.
